The GGC-12C series national standard COD intelligent reflux digestion device is designed in strict accordance with the basic principles of the standard HJ 828—2017 (replacing GB 11914-89) issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. It effectively ensures a reflux micro-boiling isothermal control heating process for 2 hours, with the preparation and addition of reagent solutions consistent with the requirements of the HJ 828—2017 standard, ensuring accurate analytical results.
This instrument employs microcomputer technology for timing control heating, allowing simultaneous heating of up to 12 250ml ground glass conical (large ground) bottles; it aims to achieve energy savings, reduce electrical load, and enhance efficiency.
The instrument uses glass burr回流 tubes instead of spherical reflux tubes, and replaces water cooling with air cooling, which saves water, reduces space requirements, standardizes the instrument, and also enhances the safety of instrument use; the heating module employs infrared ceramic heating for even heating and independent control.
The chemical solution preparation, operation, and COD calculation of the instrument are fully in accordance with the national standard HJ 828—2017; Note: For COD water samples with concentrations ≤50mg/L, the sampling volume can be appropriately increased when the sample concentration is low; For COD water samples with concentrations >50mg/L, accuracy can be improved by diluting the titrant and oxidant; For COD water samples with concentrations >700mg/L, the water sample concentration must be diluted to complete the result determination; For water samples with high chloride ion content, refer to the method in Appendix A of the national standard HJ 828—2017 for determination.
