PE-RT Pipe Fitting for Electric Fusion
PE-RT FLEXIBLE ELECTRIC MELTING PIPE
Material Introduction
The manufacturing process of PE-RT pipe fittings with expansion and extrusion is a forming technique that uses axial compensation to expand the branch pipe from a metal material. The process involves using a special hydraulic press, injecting an equal amount of liquid into the billet that matches the fitting, and synchronously squeezing the billet with the two horizontal cylinders of the hydraulic press. After being squeezed, the billet's volume decreases, and the liquid inside the billet increases in pressure as its volume decreases. When the pressure reaches the required level for the branch pipe to expand, the metal material expands into the branch pipe under the combined action of the pressure in the side cylinder and the liquid pressure inside the billet, flowing along the mold cavity.
PE-RT pipe fittings with electrofusion sockets are post-wired, with all subsequent processes completed at room temperature using precise CNC equipment. The high precision ensures ellipticity is controlled to 0.1mm and inner hole dimensions to 0.05mm. During processing, the oxidation layer on the plastic inner surface is removed, enhancing the bonding strength and durability during the electrofusion process.
