The liquid expansion within the temperature sensor is uniform. Its control function is proportional regulation; as the temperature of the controlled medium changes, the volume of the sensing liquid inside the sensor expands or contracts. When the temperature of the controlled medium exceeds the set value, the sensing liquid expands. This pushes the valve core downward to close the self-contained temperature control valve, reducing the flow of the heating medium; when the temperature of the controlled medium is below the set value, the sensing liquid contracts. The reset spring then pushes the valve core open, increasing the flow of the heating medium. Self-contained temperature control valves are mainly used in industries such as heating, air conditioning, domestic hot water, petrochemicals, electricity, mechanical and electrical textiles, rubber, and food.

Section 3: Imported Self-Regulating Temperature Valve Working Principle
Self-contained temperature control valves can be categorized by their application into: heating temperature control valves, cooling temperature control valves, three-way union temperature control valves, and three-way split temperature control valves. The working principles of self-contained temperature control valves for different applications are generally similar, all utilizing the principle that the sensing liquid expands when heated and contracts when cooled, and that liquids are incompressible for regulation. Below, taking the heating temperature control valve as an example, combined with a diagram illustrating the working principle, we explain its operation process: the temperature sensor is inserted into the controlled medium. When the controlled medium temperature rises, the sensing liquid expands, overcoming the spring resistance, pushing the valve core downward, causing the valve to close and reducing the flow of the heat medium. Conversely, when the controlled medium temperature falls below the set value, the sensing liquid contracts, the spring resets, pushing the valve core to open, increasing the flow of the heat medium, and bringing the controlled medium temperature closer to the set value. This cycle repeats, ensuring that the controlled medium temperature remains within the allowable range of the set temperature value.
