Imported pneumatic flanged gate valves are composed of a gate valve and a pneumatic actuator assembly. They are an automatic valve driven by compressed air from the actuator, featuring both air-open and air-close modes. Pneumatic flanged gate valves can be equipped with electric or pneumatic positioners to send valve status information, enabling remote, centralized, and automatic control. The flanged cast steel gate valve with pneumatic actuation utilizes a double-cylinder structure and a cushioning mechanism, doubling the lifting force compared to single-cylinder pneumatic gate valves. This effectively reduces wear on the sealing surfaces of the valve plate and the body during valve closure, and also prevents the gate plate from becoming stuck.

Principle of operation for pneumatic flanged gate valve:

This series of products includesO.4～O.6MPa(Table Pressure)Purified compressed air serves as the motive power, driving the piston to move the gate plate vertically perpendicular to the fluid, thereby achieving the purpose of opening and closing valves.

The working principle of the double-acting cylinder and the buffer mechanism is described as follows, divided into four stages according to the operation of the gate valve:(Append Schematic Diagrams ①, ②, ③, and ④)

　　1Before the gate valve opening stage: the piston of the upper cylinder(Abbreviated as the upper piston)And the piston of the lower cylinder(Abbreviated to lower piston)Simultaneously supported, the valve stem, under the thrust of the upper and lower pistons, overcomes the maximum static friction between the sealing surface of the gate plate and the body, propelling the gate plate upwards with nearly double the lifting force of a single piston. Compressed air, originating from the lower chamber of the upper cylinder, travels through a specific passage in the partition to the lower chamber of the lower cylinder via a connecting pipe, thereby driving both pistons to operate simultaneously. The gas in the upper chamber of the lower cylinder is discharged smoothly through another specific passage in the partition, exiting the cylinder body unobstructed.

　　2Latter stage of gate valve opening: After the gate plate has slightly openedjThe lower piston reaches the top dead center, and with the upper piston's drive, the gate plate continues to rise until it reaches the fully open position.

　　3The initial stage of gate valve closure: Under the push of the upper piston, the gate leaf moves away from the fully open position and begins to descend.

　　4At the late stage of the gate valve closure: when the upper piston hits the bulge of the lower piston and continues to descend together with it, the descending speed is significantly reduced due to the obstructed intake channel of the upper chamber in the lower cylinder and the exhaust channel of the lower chamber in the lower cylinder. This brings the gate plate to the fully closed position. The reduction in the impact of the gate plate descending automatically closes the valve, without the gate plate being too tightly jammed, and also protects the sealing surface from damage due to severe impacts.

Imported pneumatic butterfly valve manual operation principle:

 The cylinder head is equipped with an air-powered unit.-Manual conversion device. Rotate the conversion handle clockwise to align with the "pneumatic" positioning hole, placing the gate valve in pneumatic operation mode; conversely, rotate the handle counterclockwise to align with the "manual" positioning hole, allowing manual operation of the gate valve. The handle with bevel gears operates in the opposite direction. When manually operating the gate valve, turn the handwheel as with a standard manual valve, clockwise to close and counterclockwise to open. The opposite direction applies for the handle with bevel gears.
