ALPW-LAP series alumina powder for lithium battery ceramic separators is specifically designed for ceramic separators. It features high mechanical and puncture strength, excellent high-temperature resistance, maintaining the integrity of the separator at 180℃ high temperature, and significantly enhancing the performance and capacity of lithium-ion batteries.
High-temperature resistance
ALPW-LAP alumina boasts excellent thermal stability (melting point around 2050°C) which, when coated on the diaphragm surface, significantly enhances heat resistance and reduces the risk of diaphragm shrinkage at high temperatures, preventing thermal runaway.
2. Electrolyte wettability
ALPW-LAP alumina has high hydrophilicity on the surface, especially at the nanoscale, which can enhance the separator's adsorption of electrolyte, improve ion transport efficiency, and reduce the internal resistance of the battery.
3. Mechanical Strength
ALPW-LAP ceramic coating enhances the diaphragm's puncture strength and tensile resistance, reducing short circuits caused by dendrite penetration.
4. Chemical Stability
Stable in electrolyte, ALPW-LAP alumina does not undergo side reactions with lithium salts (e.g., LiPF₆) or solvents, thereby extending battery life.
