Our produced activated alumina is made through special processes, suitable for fluid and gas drying. During the drying process, although all molecules are absorbed to some extent by XR101, its strong polarity allows for selective adsorption of molecules. The pressure, concentration, molecular weight, temperature, and other components of the mixed gases affect the adsorption efficiency. The size of XR101 is spherical, ranging from Φ3-5, Φ4-6, to Φ5-7.
Product Advantages
Uniform spherical particle size. It can dry high-pressure gases with minimal pressure drop. The uniform spherical size of XR101 prevents adsorption and separation during the gas-controlled loading process, thereby reducing channeling and more effectively utilizing the drying absorption tower.
2. High-intensity XR101 Activated Alumina features high compaction strength, allowing gases to pass through the absorption tower rapidly. This high compaction strength also enables the absorption tower to dry gases more effectively. XR101 Activated Alumina can effectively prevent ammonia gas from escaping, and it can dry gases and liquids such as carbon dioxide from acidic substances, providing a long service life.
3. Low Wear. The XR101's low wear property reduces dust generation during the transportation of gases/liquids, lowers gas pressure during operation, prevents backflow and filter clogging, and is often used with some dusty gases.
4. The high surface area and specially designed pore distribution of the XR101 with high adsorption capacity enable it to absorb a large amount of moisture. With excellent tower design and effective regeneration, XR101 can reduce wastewater emissions (e.g., dew point).

Product Applications
1. Drying: XR101 is suitable for drying almost all gases and fluids, as the removal of moisture is essential in both production and fluid transportation processes. Sizes Φ4-6mm are commonly used for gas pressure reduction during moisture absorption. Φ3-5mm sizes are used for fluid drying and other absorption applications. XR101 activated alumina is also ideal for drying industrial compressor gases, maintaining excellent performance at low dew points. It is applicable to various sizes of dryers and is suitable for drying gases in regeneration environments (350 ~ 600°F) and pressure swing adsorption (PSA) conditions.
2. Removal of acidic impurities. Eliminate acidic substances produced during the use of oils, lubricants, and refrigerants. XR-101 can remove acidic substances during its application. Removing excess halides and water during the chlorination and fluorination of hydrocarbons is essential for producing a non-corrosive product.
