The mythical Pixiu, the ninth son of the dragon, is capable of soaring through the clouds, commanding thunder and lightning, and bringing rain and clearing the skies. It also possesses the power to ward off evil. The nine sons of the dragon have varying abilities, but Pixiu excels his father a thousandfold. With a large mouth like a golden toad and a body resembling a qilin, it absorbs the strengths of other beasts. It has a mouth but no tail, capable of swallowing everything without releasing any waste.
