When the filter is in operation, the butterfly valve is open, allowing water to flow into the filter through the inlet, filtered through the mesh, and exit at the outlet. When drainage is needed, close the butterfly valve and open the drainage valve. Water flows through the first half of the mesh for filtration, with some water exiting into the system, while the remaining water enters the inner side from the outer half of the mesh, draining out through the drainage port, thus performing a reverse automatic flushing of the mesh. The entire flushing process allows the system to operate normally without requiring shutdown.
