Product Overview: A drum dryer is an internally heated, conductive rotating drying equipment where wet materials absorb heat through thermal conduction on the drum outer wall, removing moisture to achieve the required moisture content. Heat is transferred from the drum inner wall to the outer wall, then through the material film, featuring high thermal efficiency and continuous operation capabilities, making it widely used for drying liquid or strip materials, particularly suitable for pasty and sticky materials. It comes in two types: single drum and double drum dryers. Additionally, it can also be categorized into two operational pressure forms: atmospheric pressure and reduced pressure.
Features and Applications
High operational flexibility and wide adaptability to cater to various material types and different production volume requirements.
High thermal efficiency, generally ranging between 80% to 90%.
Short drying time: The wet material film formed on the drum outer wall at the beginning of drying is generally 0.5-1.5mm, with the entire drying cycle lasting only 10-15 seconds, especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
High drying rate: Due to the thin material film and consistent heat and mass transfer directions, the surface of the material film can maintain a vaporization intensity of 30-70 kg·H20/(m2·h).
Widely used in food, meat products, yeast, starch, chemical products, dairy products, etc.
