Product Introduction
The definition of a blackbody: An object that can absorb all external radiant energy and also radiate out all of its own energy.
Primary technical specifications of the blackbody: emissivity of the blackbody, diameter of the blackbody aperture, temperature uniformity, and uncertainty of the radiant temperature. Therefore, to ensure the quality of the blackbody, they are typically designed in temperature segments. The blackbody we commonly refer to is an artificial blackbody. The emissivity of the artificial blackbody is close to 1 but not equal to 1.
The bold function primarily generates standard radiation at certain temperatures. Therefore, it is mainly used in temperature measurement for calibrating various radiation thermometers, such as optical pyrometers, infrared thermometers, and infrared thermal imagers.
The blackbody is mainly applied in the field of temperature measurement in industry, with the main product being the blackbody furnace. Calibration and verification of radiation thermometers are typically conducted using the comparative method, which involves comparing the temperature reproduced by the standard instrument (usually a blackbody radiation source) with the temperature reproduced by the radiation thermometer being tested, to determine its qualification or provide calibration results.
Standard black bodies serve as standard radiation sources, primarily used for calibrating radiation thermometers, infrared thermometers, and radiation temperature sensors. Our company currently possesses advanced black body technology, offering a full range of black body series products with diverse types and wide temperature ranges. These products are compact, lightweight, and easy to carry, suitable not only for laboratory calibration of radiation thermometers in various metrological institutions but also for on-site calibration. The surface source black body radiation source is a standard for infrared radiation and is widely used in the process testing and identification tests of infrared detectors during their development. Additionally, as the core equipment of infrared imaging calibration devices, the surface source black body radiation source, in conjunction with an infrared collimating optical system and infrared target, completes key performance indicators testing and evaluations for infrared imaging systems. It can meet the testing needs of infrared imagers in newly developed infrared imaging-guided weapons in our country and can also satisfy the testing requirements of infrared thermography in various industries such as medical, construction, security monitoring, and environmental detection.
