Thermogravimetric analysis (TG, TGA) involves observing the change in sample mass with temperature or time during heating, isothermal, or cooling processes, with the aim of studying the thermal stability and composition of materials. It is widely used in research and development, process optimization, and quality control across various fields, including plastics, rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, inorganic materials, metals, and composites.
The primary characteristics of thermal gravimetric analysis are its strong quantitative nature, enabling accurate measurement of the mass change and rate of change of a substance. Based on this feature, it can be said that any mass change that occurs in a substance upon heating can be studied using thermal gravimetric analysis. Thermal gravimetric analysis can be used to detect physical and chemical changes and processes. It can be observed that these physical and chemical changes are associated with mass changes, such as sublimation, vaporization, adsorption, desorption, absorption, and gas-solid reactions.

1. The furnace heating is done with double row winding of precious metal nickel-chromium alloy wire, reducing interference and withstanding higher temperatures better.

5. The main unit utilizes a water-regulated temperature device to isolate the heat impact from the heating furnace on the casing and the micro-thermal balance.

7. 24-bit four-channel ADC samples the DSC signal, TG signal, and temperature T signal.
