A power hydraulic brake is a mechanical component that stops or reduces the speed of moving parts in machinery. Commonly known as brakes or clutches, the brake mainly consists of the brake frame, brake parts, and control devices. Some brakes are equipped with automatic adjustment devices for the brake part gap. To minimize the braking torque and structural size, brakes are typically mounted on the high-speed shafts of the equipment. However, for large equipment with high safety requirements (such as mine hoists, elevators, etc.), they should be mounted on the low-speed shafts close to the working part of the equipment. Some brakes have been standardized and serialized, and are manufactured by professional factories for selection.
