Description

The integral medium temperature and pressure, sub-high pressure cooling and reducing unit is composed of the following components:

* Pressure Reduction System: Temperature and Pressure Reducing Valve, Throttle Plate, etc.

* Temperature Reduction System: Water regulating valve, throttle valve, etc.

* Safety System: Safety valves, check valves, etc.

Pipe System: Steam Pipes, Transition Pipes, Demineralized Water Pipes, etc.

*Accessories: Stop valves, local and remote pressure gauges, thermometers

Control Systems: Local control cabinets, DCS systems, etc.


The WY series temperature and pressure reducing devices are the third generation of such devices, developed by our company through years of design and manufacturing experience, incorporating foreign product structures and optimized with technical design.

The temperature and pressure reducing device consists of a pressure reducing system (pressure reducing valve, throttle plate, etc.), a temperature reducing system (high-pressure differential water regulating valve, throttle valve, etc.), and a safety protection device (safety valve, check valve), featuring the following:

1) Employing a temperature and pressure reducing valve structure allows for steam temperature reduction and pressure reduction within a single valve. This significantly reduces the overall length of the unit, minimizing land occupation and lowering engineering investment costs.

2) Utilizes a straight-travel double-seat cage-type temperature-reducing and pressure-reducing valve structure, featuring a throttle mesh inside the valve to enhance the atomization effect of the temperature-reducing water, protecting the valve seat and body, and extending the valve's service life. It also reduces the noise of the unit. The double-seat valve has minimal unbalanced force, a wide adjustment range, and smooth operation, preventing sticking. The sub-high pressure temperature-reducing and pressure-reducing valve is surfacing welded with cobalt-based ERCrMn-C-15 on the sealing surface, offering resistance to high temperatures and erosion; the valve seat and disc are matched and ground, providing good sealing performance and overcoming the drawback of high leakage in double-seat valves. Suitable for temperatures up to 510°C.

3) The valve is equipped with an atomizing nozzle inside, where the reducing water flows through the water chamber within the valve core, achieving a jet velocity of up to 23m/s at the spray point. The throttling between the valve disc and seat in the reducing-pressure valve maintains a high steam velocity (i.e., at the spray point of the reducing water), thus ensuring excellent atomization even at lower steam flow rates.

4) Noise Reduction. The throttle orifice cover and the throttle plate located after the pressure-reducing valve, both serve to reduce pressure and atomize. Their primary function, however, is to decrease the noise within the system. The main principle is the noise reduction achieved through the small holes.

5) Flow characteristics of temperature and pressure reducing valve: Straight line or corrected percentage characteristic curve, capable of precise control over the entire stroke range, ensuring the secondary steam operates within 10~100% of rated output, with long-term stable operation, leakage grade: IV.

6) The temperature water regulating system employs a straight-travel large pressure difference regulating valve, capable of reasonably distributing the pressure difference on the water supply system. The large pressure difference water regulating valves of the same diameter offer different flow coefficient Cv values for selection, significantly enhancing the regulating sensitivity and accuracy of the temperature regulating system.

7) Electric temperature and pressure reducing valves, electric water supply regulating valves, equipped with straight-travel electric actuators, eliminate the traditional lever hinge mechanism, reduce dead travel sections, and further enhance the sensitivity and accuracy of the regulating system.
