I. Material Characteristics
Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) is a new generation of polyethylene material with excellent chemical stability and mechanical properties. Our company primarily uses LLDPE and HDPE as raw materials, adopting an international rotational molding process for one-time whole molding, producing large-scale, high-capacity, and high-intensity storage tanks. The products offer the following advantages:
- Seamless, shock-resistant, aging-resistant, lightweight, and leak-proof
- Corrosion-resistant, long-lasting, and meets hygiene standards
- Performance exceeds traditional fiberglass, PP, PVC, and steel-lined containers, with twice the service life and impact resistance of standard fiberglass.
- Alternative to stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and other metal containers at a lower cost
The product is widely used in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, food, and electricity. It is suitable for various acidic, alkaline, and solvent media, and meets the high hygiene requirements of fields like pharmaceuticals, food, and drinking water engineering.
Material Parameters:
Specific gravity 0.926, tensile strength 14MPa, bending strength ≥28MPa, impact strength 63Kg/cm², hardness ≥Shore D41, operating temperature -60℃ to +80℃, aging resistance A-1 grade.
II. Production Process
Utilizing Rotomolding Process: The PE plastic masterbatch is milled, mixed, and then inserted into the mold. The mold rotates along two perpendicular axes while being heated, causing the plastic to uniformly adhere to the inner wall of the mold cavity. After cooling, the product is shaped. This process is free of external force, resulting in a natural formation with even wall thickness. Dimensional accuracy is approximately ±3%. The product remains unaffected by natural shrinkage during actual use, ensuring stable quality.
Steel Lined PE Storage Tank Technology:
After manufacturing the steel shell, clean the welds and sand the inner surface. Lay a diamond-shaped steel mesh and spot-weld it in place to ensure a firm steel-plastic bond, preventing shell detachment due to temperature differences, and guaranteeing the usage effect.
