The GAN800 Centralized Gigabit Ethernet Optical Terminal is an integrated platform that combines system management, schedule monitoring, fiber transmission, and programmed exchange. Designed specifically for the network upgrade needs of Public Security levels 3, 4, and 5, it is a high-capacity, multi-service, highly scalable, and reliable comprehensive optical transmission platform. Each unit can provide up to 2048 telephone extensions, and can transmit multiple bi-directional uncompressed video, multiple isolated 1000M Ethernet, multiple isolated 100M Ethernet, multiple phone lines, multiple high-fidelity audio, multiple RS232/485/422 asynchronous data, multiple switch quantities, and multiple E1 signals over a single-mode fiber. This single fiber enables the networking of Public Security levels 3, 4, and 5. The series can be optionally equipped with dual-fiber backup for fiber route protection, and supports the Huaqiao Communication iNet View G2000 Network Management Platform.
The GAN800 optical terminal uses a modular design, providing network management cards, optical transceiver modules, programmable exchange modules, and functional expansion modules for various services. The optical transceiver modules feature high-speed optical transmission channels, supporting bi-directional video, gigabit Ethernet, and megabit Ethernet services. The functional expansion modules include multi-line telephone expansion modules, digital signaling, and data/switching quantity expansion modules, for extending low-speed services. All optical transceiver modules and functional expansion modules are connected to the high-speed backplane of the chassis via a unified interface. The remote integrated service optical terminal can be optionally equipped with different functional transceiver modules and can combine various functional expansion modules to achieve centralized gigabit Ethernet optical terminal solutions for transmitting various services and meeting different functional requirements.
