The humidifier works by pumping water through pipes to the sprinkling system, where the lower part is a highly absorbent humidifying material—wet membrane. Under the force of gravity, water permeates through the wet membrane material, being absorbed by the material to form a uniform water film. As dry air passes through the wet membrane material, water molecules absorb heat from the air, vaporize, and evaporate, thereby increasing the air humidity and creating a moist air that is supplied to the room. The increased humidity in the room air causes a drop in temperature, achieving the goal of humidification.
