The principle of the warm mist humidifier: Water is pumped to the sprinkler system via pipes, with a highly absorbent humidifying material, the wet film, at the bottom. Under gravity, water permeates through the wet film material, absorbed by the material to form a uniform water film. As dry air passes through the wet film material, water molecules absorb heat from the air, vaporize, and evaporate, increasing the air humidity and creating moist air to be delivered into the room. The increase in room air humidity leads to a decrease in temperature, achieving the humidification goal.
