Sheathed thermistors measure temperature by utilizing the characteristic that the resistance of a material changes with temperature variations, and when the resistance changes, the working instrument displays the corresponding temperature value. They are commonly used with display meters, recorders, and digital regulators, etc., for temperature measurement, display, and control applications.
Operating Principle
