A bag dust collector is a dry dust removal device. After a period of use, due to effects such as screening, collision, retention, diffusion, and electrostatic forces, a layer of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bags, which is called the initial layer. In the subsequent movement process, the initial layer becomes the main filtration layer of the filter material. Relying on the initial layer's function, filter materials with larger pores can still achieve high filtration efficiency. As dust accumulates on the surface of the filter material, the efficiency and resistance of the dust collector increase correspondingly. When the pressure difference between both sides of the filter material is very high, some small dust particles attached to the filter material may be squeezed through, reducing the efficiency of the dust collector. Additionally, an excessively high resistance in the dust collector can significantly decrease the airflow of the dust removal system. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the dust collector promptly once the resistance reaches a certain level. When cleaning, the initial layer must not be damaged to avoid a decrease in efficiency.

As the powder repeatedly adheres to the outer surface of the filter bag, the powder layer continues to thicken, and the resistance value of the bag dust collector increases accordingly; the pulse valve diaphragm issues a command, and the pulse valve opens when submerged from both sides. The compressed air inside the high-pressure air tank is released. If there is no more dust or it is reduced to a certain extent, the mechanical cleaning operation will cease.
