Question 1: The water circulation in the low-temperature constant-temperature bath has always been normal before, but now we find that the noise is much louder than before. What could be the cause of this?
Reason: As mentioned earlier, the daily maintenance of the water circulation is related to this issue. Everyone knows that there is a small amount of impurities in the water, and even distilled water added to the tank cannot guarantee there are no impurities at all. For water circulation, the temperature is generally set at 20°C, which is particularly conducive to the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. Over time, these microorganisms can block the filter of the waterway, causing poor backflow and loud noise from the pump. Sometimes, these microorganisms attach to the surface of the heat exchanger, reducing its heat transfer efficiency and decreasing the cooling capacity. Therefore, it is essential to strictly follow the instructions for daily maintenance, regularly clean the internal tank, and keep it dry during long-term disuse. There seems to be a leak in the water circulation, and sometimes a few drops appear on the ground. Could it be a leak in the waterway? Generally, there should be no leaks in the waterway during normal use. When the environmental temperature is high and the relative humidity in the air is too great, condensation can occur on the water pump, pipe joints, and external water pipes in the waterway of the water circulation, which may eventually drip to the ground. Don't worry that there is a leak in the waterway. If you are concerned about this, turning on the air conditioner to lower the room temperature or using a dehumidifier can prevent condensation from forming.
Question 2: The water circulation in the low-temperature constant-temperature bath has been functioning normally for over a year, but now the refrigeration speed seems to be getting slower, and this is more pronounced as the temperature rises?
Reason: Water recycling is simple, but regular maintenance cannot be overlooked. Many problems that seem like failures are actually caused by a lack of regular maintenance. Both the electrical power of the water circulation and the heat carried away by the refrigerant from the load need to be dissipated through the radiator at the front ventilation cover. If the front ventilation cover is filled with dust and fluff, it will hinder the dissipation of these heats, significantly reducing the cooling effect. Generally speaking, a decrease in cooling capacity under normal operating conditions is due to poor ventilation and heat dissipation or excessively high ambient temperatures.
Specific precautions for the low-temperature constant-temperature water bath:
1. The selection of the liquid medium in the low-temperature constant-temperature water bath should comply with the following principles:
At operating temperatures between 5 to 85°C, a liquid medium typically consists of water.
At operating temperatures between 85-95°C, a 15% glycerol aqueous solution can be used as the liquid medium.
When the operating temperature exceeds 95℃, a liquid medium is generally selected as oil, and the open cup flash point of the chosen oil should be at least 50℃ higher than the operating temperature.
Note: The working temperature here refers to the temperature the liquid medium in the tank needs to reach.
2. Use a low-temperature bath - add the liquid medium to the bath of the low-temperature constant-temperature bath before operation, ensuring the liquid surface is about 30mm below the worktop. Otherwise, the heater may be damaged when powered on.
3. Power Supply: 220V 50Hz, the power rating of the power supply should be greater than the total power of the instrument; the power supply must have a good "grounding" device.
4. When the working temperature of the constant-temperature water bath is high, avoid opening the lid and do not place your hands inside to prevent burns.
5. After use, turn off all switches and disconnect the power supply.
The instrument should be regularly cleaned to maintain the cleanliness of the work surface and operating panel.
Regularly monitor the liquid level within the groove; when the level is too low, add the liquid medium promptly.
Due to safety considerations, we stipulate that恒温槽 with temperatures above 100℃ be equipped with an internal circulation. If modified to an external circulation as per customer request, the customer should pay particular attention to the rigidity of the connection at the outlet pipe to prevent it from falling off, in order to avoid burns.
6. Instruments should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated area, with no obstructions within 300mm of the instrument.

6. The cold liquid within the tank can be externally channeled, used in an external experimental container for the cooling machine, or conducted directly within the tank for low-temperature and constant-temperature experiments.
