Working Principle

The lime dosing system is a device that prepares lime powder into a solution of a certain concentration and adds it.

Material is stored in a warehouse, weighed by a feed scale, transported by a screw conveyor to the lime dissolution system, where it is dissolved, and then pumped to the feeding point by a screw or slurry pump.

Lime is commonly used in water treatment systems. 

Remove temporary hardness, remove magnesium salts, soften water quality

Remove CO2 from water, reduce corrosion, adjust water pH level

Neutralize excess coagulant and enhance the coagulation effect of the coagulant by increasing the pH value, acting as a flocculant aid.
