ATEX Certification Application
The EU has restricted the issuance of ATEX certification to only authorized notified bodies within the EU to control the safety performance of explosion-proof equipment.
Currently, there were 24 notified bodies involved in the ATEX Directive.
As of May 21, 2014, 67 European institutions have obtained authorization from the EU announcement.
Commonly compared ATEX notified bodies include TÜV Süddeutschland, TÜV Nord, TÜV Rheinland, DNV, BV, QS, DEKRA, EUROFINS, UL, CSA, ECM, etc.

Imported explosion-proof equipment now has an IECEx certificate. How can it obtain a domestic explosion-proof certification?
If the imported equipment has a valid IECEx certification, it can be converted to a domestic explosion-proof certification.
Please provide the original IECEx certification Certificate and Testing Report, product drawings and other documentation to ZhongNuo for assessment.

Can IECEx certification be converted to a domestic explosion-proof certification?
As IEC member states, countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore have adopted the IECEx explosion-proof certification.
Products with an IECEx explosion-proof certificate do not require the application of that country's explosion-proof certification for export.
China, also a member of IEC, but explosion-proof products in China require an application for the Chinese explosion-proof certification or coal safety certification.
This cannot be directly substituted with IECEx.
