I. Product Overview

The SMC sheet material production line is an automated equipment system designed for the continuous production of Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). SMC, a high-performance fiber-reinforced thermosetting plastic, is composed of resin (such as unsaturated polyester), glass fiber, filler, and additives. It boasts characteristics like lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and good insulation properties, and is widely used in industries such as automotive, power, rail transportation, and construction materials.

Resin Paste Feed System

• Function: Precisely measure resins, fillers, curing agents, thickeners, and other raw materials to ensure stable ratios.

2. Fiber Cutting and Settling System

• Function: Cuts continuous glass fiber to specified lengths (25-50mm) and evenly deposits them into the resin糊 layer.

• Static Eliminator, Reduces Fiber Dispersion.

3. Immersion Compaction System

• Function: Fully wets the fibers with resin through multi-level rolling to eliminate air bubbles and enhance density.
• Features:
• Roller gap adjustable for varying thickness requirements (1-10mm).
• Temperature controllable, optimizing resin flowability.

4. Coating and Rewinding System

• Function: Covers the surface of the sheet material with PE film to prevent oxidation and automatically wind it up.
• Features:
• Automatic tension adjustment, neatly coiled.
• Optional online cutting, direct output of sheet material.

5. Smart Control System

• Function: PLC + touchscreen operation, real-time monitoring of production parameters.
• Features:
• Data storage, fault alarms, enhance stability.
