Dextrin is generally categorized into three types: white dextrin, yellow dextrin, and British glue, also known as "British glue." The differences among them lie in the pre-treatment methods for starch and the heat treatment conditions.
Product Usage: Dextrin is used as an adhesive in food, papermaking, foundry, wallpaper, labels, stamps, tape paper, etc. For tablet excipient adhesives, it requires drying, dispersing, bonding, and re-wetting solubility, and white dextrin or low viscosity yellow dextrin products can be chosen. For label and stamp adhesives, high viscosity is needed, with the formed film having strong toughness, suitable for use with white dextrin or British glue. It can also be used as printing paste in textile dyeing.
