Section 2: Instructions for Use
●When using the water level gauge, first slowly open the valve to allow fluid entry, then preheat the special glass tube for 20~30 minutes. Once it reaches a certain temperature, you can fully open both end valves to fill with water or other medium.
●Regular descaling is required during use to prevent blockage of passageways due to sedimentation, which can lead to false water level readings.
●In the event of accidental damage to the quartz tube, by turning the plug of the upper and lower plug 90° using the upper and lower handles of the instrument, the medium inside the container can be prevented from continuing to leak out. At this point, the damaged part can be replaced.
Transportation, storage, installation, operation, and maintenance
●After packaging, the water level gauge can be transported using standard transportation methods, but it should be avoided from severe vibration and direct erosion by rain and snow.
●The level gauge should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated room with a temperature of 0~40°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%, and the outdoor air should not contain corrosive substances for the instrument.
●The water level gauge must be installed vertically, with the vertical deviation less than 3°.
● A shut-off valve should be installed between the level gauge and the container to isolate the medium for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
Based on the medium conditions, the main tube should be cleaned regularly to remove debris inside.
