Cement Level Gauges Overview and Applications:
The LRDD61 type cement level gauge emits high-frequency microwaves that propagate along steel cables. Upon encountering the medium being measured, a sudden change in dielectric constant causes reflection. The time interval between the emitted and reflected pulses is proportional to the distance of the medium being measured. Additionally, the guided wave radar can also measure the interface between two different media, taking full advantage of the differences in dielectric constants. However, the measurement condition requires that the upper medium is non-conductive, or its dielectric constant is less than one-tenth that of the lower medium. Can measure any medium with a dielectric constant of 1.4 or greater.
Suited for measuring liquids (diesel, gasoline), small solid particles, powdery mediums (cement), and mediums with significant dust飞扬.
Suitable for measuring media with significant volatility, such as foaming, adhering, scaling, surface fluctuations, bubbling or boiling, high-frequency loading and unloading, and ultra-low liquid level conditions where there are changes in dielectric constant or specific gravity.
