Machine Model: DJC-1 Vertical Burning Tester for Single Wire Cable
I. Application Scope
The Vertical Burning Test Apparatus for Single Wire or Cable is primarily designed to evaluate the flammability of single wire or cable with conductor diameters greater than 0.8mm or cross-sectional areas not less than 0.5mm². It is suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of electrical products such as lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, machine tools, motors, electric tools, electronic instruments, electrical meters, electrical connectors, and accessories. This model adopts the product structure recommended in Appendix B of GB18380.12-2008 regarding air-mixing structures and meets the quality acceptance requirements of inspection units.
II. Features and Benefits
The vertical combustion tester for single-core cables utilizes a Bunsen burner of specified size and a specific gas source, applying combustion to the vertical sample at a set flame height and angle for a predetermined time. Its flammability and ignition risk are evaluated based on the time to ignition, duration of combustion, and length of the flame.
3. Technical Specifications
7-inch full-color programmable controller touch screen + PLC control, for multi-functional control/detection/calculation/data display
2. High Automation: Automatically records test time, displays test results, counts down, ignites automatically, and the Bunsen burner retracts automatically at the end of the flame, with the option to turn off gas.
3. At startup, you can choose to auto-ignite or not; start, stop, gas, timing, ignite, save, save, and exhaust are all controlled via the touch screen, a simple touch of your finger completes the test.
4. Timer button paired with PLC for automatic recording and storage of combustion duration
5. The test time is automatically recorded by the system and generates test results.
6. Burner: Inner Diameter Φ9.5mm ±0.5mm
7. Test Inclination: The 45° style beam can be moved forward and backward, adjusting its position relative to the Bunsen burner according to the beam's thickness.
8. Flue Height: adjustable from 20mm ±2mm to 190mm ±1mm
9. Ignition Time: 0-999.9s ±0.1s adjustable
10. Combustible Gas: 95% Propane (Liquefied petroleum gas can generally be used as a substitute)
11. Gas: High-purity propane or liquefied petroleum gas (supplied by the user)
12. Tested Length of Wire and Cable: 600 ± 25mm
13. Tested Wire and Cable Outer Diameter: Conductor Diameter Greater Than 0.8mm or Cross-Sectional Area Greater Than 0.5mm²
14. The device should be tested in an airtight environment with a temperature of (23±10)℃.
15. Standard Power of Combustion Torch: 1KW
16. Power Voltage: 220V/50Hz
17. Gas Flow Rate: 0-1L/min
18. Airflow: 1.5-15L/min

IV. Design Standards
GB/T18380.1-2008、GB/T18380.11-2008、GB/T18380.12-2008、
GB/T18380.21-2008、GB/T18380.22-2008
V. Applicable Standards
IEC60332 、 GB/T19666-2005、 GB12972 、 GB13033 、 MT818、MT386、ISO5656
Note: Standard recommendations include two methods for flame adjustment:
A. Inner flame: 50-60mm, outer flame: 170-190mm
B. 10g copper head takes 45±5 seconds to heat from 100℃ to 700℃
If the user opts for the second method to verify the flame, a flame calibration device is required. During the initial procurement, the flame calibration method can be temporarily disregarded, and additional equipment can be added later if needed.
