Main Specifications
Density: 70-100 kg/m³, Thickness: 40-100 mm, Width: 600 mm, Length: Customized to Order
Thermal Conductivity: 0.033-0.047 (W/MK) Operating Temperature: -120-600 (°C)
Usage
Can be cut to any size as needed during construction. Mainly used for vibration and noise reduction in indoor construction, acoustic systems, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, and household appliances, with excellent results in noise absorption and reduction.
Production Process
Rock wool batts are manufactured using centrifugal technology, where molten basalt fibers are fiberized and bonded with an environmentally friendly adhesive formula mainly consisting of thermosetting resins. They can be customized to have a moisture-proof facing applied on the production line, with an outer wire mesh or glass fiber cloth as needed.
Technical Specifications
Maintains thermal insulation properties, the mineral wool felt also boasts excellent shock absorption and sound absorption characteristics. It particularly excels in absorbing mid to low-frequency noise and vibrations, effectively reducing noise pollution and enhancing the working environment. The mineral wool felt with aluminum foil facing also offers strong resistance to thermal radiation, making it an ideal lining material for high-temperature workshops, control rooms, machine rooms, partitions, and flat ceilings.
