Manufacturers of rubber products can use a vulcanometer to test the reproducibility and stability of their products, as well as design and inspect rubber formulations. Manufacturers can conduct on-site inspections on the production line to ensure that the vulcanization characteristics of each batch, and even each moment, meet the product requirements. To determine the vulcanization characteristics of uncured rubber compounds, a torque-time vulcanization curve is obtained by reciprocating oscillation of the rubber within the mold cavity, providing a scientific determination of the three key factors: vulcanization time, temperature, and pressure, which ultimately determine product quality. No RotorVulcanometer, FDR (Flat Die Rubber Vulcanometer), measures the torque change of rubber during curing by placing the rubber between upper and lower flat plate molds at a specified temperature and applying a sinusoidal torque vibration. The curing characteristics can be determined by analyzing changes in torque, minor torque, scorch time, curing time, and other factors such as viscoelasticity. The precision and reproducibility of experimental results are achieved due to the cone rotary drive mechanism capable of producing accurate sinusoidal vibration and four heaters.
Due to the overall design of various components, a compact rubber vulcanometer is used, which is suitable for various testing sites.

The principle of the rubber vulcanization tester in determining the vulcanization characteristics of unvulcanized rubber compounds: A sample of unvulcanized rubber is placed in a sealed or nearly sealed mold cavity and maintained at a set test temperature. The mold cavity consists of upper and lower parts, with one part oscillating at a small angle. This oscillation induces shear strain in the sample, measuring the counter-torque (force) exerted by the sample on the mold cavity. This torque (force) depends on the shear modulus of the rubber compound, which changes continuously with the vulcanization time. Starting from the moment the rubber enters the mold, the vulcanization tester automatically records the torque values reflecting the shear strain of the rubber compound. Consequently, a torque-time relationship curve, known as the vulcanization curve, is obtained. Its shape is related to the set test temperature and the characteristics of the rubber compound.
There are mainly two types of rubber vulcanization testers: reciprocating measurement and torsional measurement. The latter is more widely used due to its ability to provide a more complete sample. The National Standard 80V/'$%'/W&'/((disc oscillating vulcanization tester) specifies the temperature control range, the range for recording the vulcanization curve (torque vs. time curve), and the method to obtain胶料常数 such as shear values and time values from the curve.
  
The operating principle of a rubber vulcanization instrument
Inside the workshop (mold), a rotor continuously oscillates at a certain frequency (1.7-0.1 Hz) with a slight angle (3). The rubber material surrounding the rotor gradually increases in vulcanization degree and modulus under specific temperature and pressure conditions, causing the torque of the rotor's oscillation to increase proportionally. The change in torque value is converted into a signal by the sensor inside the instrument and sent to the recorder for amplification and recording. The curve of torque variation over time is known as the vulcanization characteristic curve.
The mouse button clicked on the rubber vulcanization instrument computer has the same function as the button on the main unit panel, for user convenience. The computer's software interface is very user-friendly and extremely easy to use.
