TC90: Primarily used to evaluate the one-time vulcanization conditions during molding production. An extended TC90 indicates a slower curing rate, which can result in lower product hardness and reduced yield.
Non-rotating vulcanometerData Analysis
ML - Torque, N·m (kgf·cm)
MH - Sulfur curve that does not show a flat curve or torque after the specified time, the achieved torque N·m (kgf·cm)
TS1 - Time from the start of the experiment to the time when the curve corresponds to a torque increase of 0.1 N·m (kgf·cm), MIN
TS2 - Time from the start of the experiment to the time when the torque increases by 0.2 N•m (kgf•cm) as indicated on the curve, MIN
TC(x) — Time required for the specimen to reach a certain degree of sulfurization, i.e., when the specimen torque reaches ML + X(MH - ML)
The corresponding time, MIN (Note: If X is 0.5, it is TC50; if X is 0.9, it is TC90)
3.4. Significance of the转子硫化仪硫检 parameters:
ML: Indicates the fluidity of the rubber compound. The lower the ML, the better the fluidity; conversely, the worse it is.
MH: Characterizes the rubber compound with shear modulus, hardness, tensile strength at break, and cross-linking density. Generally, the lower the MH, the lower the hardness; the higher the MH, the higher the hardness.
TS2: Indicates the operational safety of the rubber material. The shorter the TS2, the more prone the rubber is to dead material, resulting in defects like insufficient material during production. Conversely, a longer TS2 enhances operational safety but reduces productivity and significantly increases costs. Therefore, TS2 plays a crucial role in the processing and formulation design of rubber materials.
Non-rotating vulcanometerA widely-used instrument in the rubber processing industry for controlling rubber quality, rapid testing, and fundamental research applications, it provides data for rubber compounding formulations, capable of measuring scorch time, cure time, curing index, and low torque, among other parameters.
