Full Steel Ventilation Cabinet
1. Cabinet: Constructed from 1.0mm thick Shangai Baogang hot-dip galvanized steel plate, coated with an electrostatic powder spray of epoxy resin on an automatic assembly line, and cured at high temperature, it is acid and alkali resistant, suitable for chemical laboratories. It features robust load-bearing capacity.
2. Drainage plate (flanking board): Made of 5mm thick HPL board.
3. Countertop: Made of 12.7mm thick core board, reinforced to 25.4mm at the front edge.
4. Glass Sliding Door: Equipped with synchronous wheels, belts, and shafts for easy, smooth opening. The door can stop at any position without gears, remains level during movement, and features a view window made of PVC profiles and 5mm tempered clear glass. The counterweight is achieved through a rear sliding track and sound-insulating sealing felt strip.

Fume hoods, also known as smoke cabinets or ventilation cabinets, are large equipment used primarily in laboratories, particularly chemical labs. Their purpose is to minimize contact between the experimenter and harmful gases. Full isolation requires the use of glove boxes. Fume hoods serve as the primary barrier in protecting personnel from toxic chemical fumes. They act as a crucial safety backup, effectively expelling harmful gases during chemical experiments that fail, producing chemical fumes, dust, and toxic gases, thereby safeguarding staff and the lab environment.
Operation Instructions for Fume Hoods
First, stand or sit in front of the cabinet, then lower the glass door as much as possible. Simply extend your hand under the door to enter the cabinet and perform the experiment. Due to the exhaust fan drawing air inward through the open door, harmful gases should not溢出 in large quantities under normal circumstances. Caution: When two or more fume hoods share one fan, only one operator should control the fan's on/off to prevent operation errors or misuse. Every two hours, the fume hoods should receive 10 minutes of supplementary air.
Cautionary Notes for Ventilation Cabinets

Indoor air temperature ranges from -5℃ to +40℃, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +25℃.

In the laboratory, it is essential to ventilate the area regularly even when the fume hood is not in use, as this is beneficial to the health of the personnel.

When more than two fume hoods are using the same exhaust fan, to prevent operational errors or misuse, the "on" and "off" control of the fan should be handled by only one operator; if another fume hood is temporarily not in use or needs to be shut down, use the air volume control valve to seal the ventilation opening; avoid repeated "on" and "off" operations of the fan, as this not only damages the fan's lifespan but also affects the experimental results.

When in use, avoid any interference to the fume hood caused by personnel movement creating a reverse airflow direction.

The fume hood should be topped up with 10 minutes of fresh air (i.e., opened for ventilation) every 2 hours; for use exceeding 5 hours, the windows should be left open to prevent negative pressure inside the room.
