Welded pipe production process:
Raw material opening — leveling — end cutting and welding — sleeve — shaping — welding — removal of internal and external weld beads — pre-alignment — induction heat treatment — sizing and straightening — eddy current inspection — cutting — hydraulic pressure test — acid washing — final inspection (rigorous control) — packaging — shipment.

Welded pipe applications:

2. For liquid conveyance: water, drainage. For gas conveyance: steam, gas;

Production Process:
1. The straight seam welding pipe production process is simple, with high efficiency, low cost, and rapid development. The strength of spiral seam pipes is generally higher than that of straight seam pipes, allowing for the production of larger diameter pipes with narrower billets, as well as the production of pipes with different diameters using the same width billets. However, compared to pipes of the same length with straight seams, the weld length increases by 30~%, and the production speed is slower.
2. Large diameter or thicker welded pipes are typically made directly from steel billets, while smaller and thin-walled welded pipes can be simply welded from steel strips. Afterward, a simple polishing and wire drawing are sufficient.
3. Additional Note: Welded pipes are made from steel strips, thus they were not as highly regarded as seamless pipes in their original position.

Additional Classification of Welded Pipes:
1. Standard carbon steel wire conduit is a steel pipe used for protecting wires in electrical installation projects such as industrial and civil construction, machine installation, etc.
2. Seamless electric resistance-welded steel pipes are steel pipes with the weld seam parallel to the longitudinal axis. They are typically categorized into metric electric resistance-welded pipes, electric resistance thin-walled pipes, transformer cooling oil pipes, and so on.
3. Spiral seam submerged arc-welded steel pipes for pressure fluid conveyance are made from hot-rolled steel strip coils as billets, formed into pipes by normal temperature spiral rolling, and welded using double-sided submerged arc welding. These pipes are used for conveying pressure fluids through spiral seam steel pipes. The pipes have high pressure-bearing capacity, excellent welding properties, and have undergone rigorous scientific inspections and tests, ensuring safe and reliable use. These pipes have large diameters, high conveyance efficiency, and can also save investment in pipeline laying. They are mainly used for oil and gas pipeline conveyance.
4. Spiral seam焊接钢管 for pressure fluid transmission are made from hot-rolled steel strip coils as billets, formed into pipes through normal temperature spiral forming, and welded using lap welding. They are used for pressure fluid transmission. These steel pipes have strong pressure-bearing capacity, good plasticity, and are easy to weld and shape. After rigorous and scientific inspection and testing, they are safe and reliable for use. The large diameter of the pipes ensures high transmission efficiency and can save on pipeline installation costs. They are mainly used for laying pipelines for the transmission of oil, gas, and other fluids.
5. General low-pressure fluid transportation spiral seam submerged arc焊接钢管 are made from hot-rolled steel strip coils as pipe billets, often formed by cold-rolled spiral shaping, and produced by double-sided automatic submerged arc welding or single-sided welding method for submerged arc welding pipes used for water, air, steam, and other general low-pressure fluid transportation.
6. General low-pressure fluid transmission spiral seam welded steel pipes are made from hot-rolled steel strip coils as pipe billets, formed by normal temperature spiral rolling, and welded using lap welding method for general low-pressure fluid transmission spiral seam welded steel pipes.
7. Pile steel spiral-welded pipes are made from hot-rolled steel strip coils, which are formed into pipe billets through normal temperature spiral forming, and are manufactured using double-sided submerged arc welding or welding methods. They are used for the foundation piles of civil engineering structures, docks, bridges, etc.
