Seamless Welded Pipe Features:

Seamless steel pipe production technology is simple, with high efficiency, low cost, and rapid development. Spiral-welded pipes generally have higher strength than seamless pipes, allowing for the production of larger diameter pipes with narrower billets and different diameter pipes with the same width billets. However, compared to straight seam pipes of the same length, the weld length increases by 30~ and the production speed is slower.

2. General Welded Pipe: Generally used for conveying low-pressure fluids, these pipes are made from steel grades Q195A, Q215A, and Q235A. Other easily welded soft steels can also be used. The pipes must undergo hydraulic tests, bending, flattening, and other experiments, with certain surface quality requirements. Standard delivery lengths are typically 4-10 meters, often requiring fixed-length (or multiple-length) delivery. The specifications of the welded pipes are indicated by nominal diameter (in millimeters or inches). The nominal diameter differs from the actual, with two types of pipes available: ordinary and thick-walled according to the specified wall thickness. Pipes are also categorized by their end forms into threaded and unthreaded.

3. Galvanized Steel Pipe: To enhance the corrosion resistance of steel pipes, galvanization is applied to the general steel pipes (black pipes). Galvanized steel pipes are divided into hot-dip galvanized and electro-galvanized types, with hot-dip galvanized having thicker zinc coating and electro-galvanized being more cost-effective.

4. Oxygen Blowing Welded Pipe: Used for steelmaking oxygen blowing, typically made of small-diameter welded steel pipes, available in eight sizes ranging from 3/8 inch to 2 inches. Made from steel strips of grades 08, 10, 15, 20, or Q195-Q235. Some are treated with aluminum diffusion to prevent corrosion.

5. Electrical Conduit: These are also commonly used carbon steel welded pipes, applied in concrete and structural power distribution projects, with nominal diameters commonly ranging from 13-76mm. The conduit walls are thinner and are typically coated or galvanized before use, and cold bending tests are required.

6. Metric Welded Pipe: Seamless pipes with specifications, represented by outer diameter * wall thickness in millimeters,焊接钢管，welded using hot-rolled, cold-rolled, or general low-alloy steel, or after hot rolling followed by cold drawing. Metric welded pipes are divided into general and thin-walled types, commonly used as structural components, such as drive shafts, or for conveying fluids; thin-walled pipes are used for producing furniture, lighting fixtures, etc., ensuring pipe strength and bend tests.

7. Roller Tube: Used for electric welded steel pipes for conveyor roller of belt conveyors, commonly made from Q215, Q235A, B steel, and 20 steel, with diameters ranging from 63.5 to 219.0mm. There are certain requirements for the tube's bending, end face perpendicular to the centerline, and ellipticity, usually tested with hydrostatic and flattening tests.

8. Transformer Tubes: Used for manufacturing transformer cooling tubes and other heat exchangers, made from plain carbon steel, requiring processes such as flattening, expanding, bending, and hydrostatic testing. Steel tubes are delivered in fixed or multiple lengths, with specific requirements for the degree of bending.

9. Special-shaped tubes: Welded from plain carbon structural steel and 16Mn steel strips, these include square tubes, rectangular tubes, cap-shaped tubes, and steel pipes for hollow steel windows and doors. Mainly used as components for agricultural machinery and steel windows and doors.

10. Welded thin-walled tubes: Primarily used for making furniture, toys, lighting fixtures, etc. In recent years, thin-walled tubes made of stainless steel strips have found wide applications in furniture, decoration, and railing, etc.

11. Spiral Welded Pipe: It involves rolling low-carbon carbon structural steel or low-alloy structural steel strips into a pipe blank at a specific spiral angle (referred to as the forming angle), and then welding the pipe seam to form the pipe. This method allows for the production of large-diameter steel pipes using narrower strips. Spiral welded pipes are primarily used for oil and gas transmission pipelines, with their specifications indicated by outer diameter * wall thickness. Spiral welded pipes come in single-sided and double-sided welding types, and the pipes must ensure that the hydraulic test, tensile strength of the weld, and cold bending properties meet the specified requirements.
