Screw-type gate valve installation and maintenance:
1. Ensure the base layout plane is level at 180°; the contact area between the machine base and the base layout plane must exceed 90%; the screw shaft axis must be perpendicular to the level plane measured on the weir platform; it should also be perpendicular to the hinge holes of the weir plate to avoid screw shaft tilting and localized stress damage to the machine components.
2. Place the actuator at the installation site. Fit a stopper disk onto the screw, then thread the screw into the actuator from the bottom of the beam. Once the screw protrudes from the top of the actuator, attach the stopper disk. The bottom of the screw is connected to the gate.
3. The installation of the foundation building for the opening and closing machinery must be stable and safe. The concrete for the machine base and foundation components shall be cast according to the drawings. It is strictly prohibited to remove or alter the temporary supports for the opening and closing machinery before the concrete reaches the designed strength, and it is also forbidden to conduct trial adjustments or trial operations.
4. Install the opening and closing machinery such that the centerline of the gate lifting aligns with the center, ensuring the longitudinal and transverse centerline deviations are no more than ±3mm, and the elevation deviation is no more than ±5mm. Subsequently, pour the second-stage concrete or connect to the pre-buried steel plate.
5. Installation of electrical equipment for opening and closing mechanisms complies with the specifications of the drawings and manuals, with all electrical equipment properly grounded.
6. After each shutdown machine is installed, clean the shutdown machine, repair any damaged protective paint, and lubricate with grease.
