Air (Nitrogen) Blasting: Air blasting is a method that uses air as the medium, compressed by an air compressor to 0.6～0.8Mpa, and then blows away residual debris from process pipelines. 1 Principles and Requirements for Air (Nitrogen) Blasting: When selecting air (nitrogen) blasting for process pipelines, ensure sufficient air volume to make the flow speed of the blowing gas greater than the flow speed of normal operation, or at least not less than 20m/s.
Flushing of the recirculating water system. The water flush should be conducted at the maximum possible flow rate within the pipeline or at a velocity of not less than 1.5 m/s, flowing from high to low. The water quality for flushing must meet the requirements of the pipeline and equipment materials. For general equipment and pipeline flushing, turbidity should be less than 10 mg/L and chloride ion content less than 100 ppm. Flushing should be carried out in a sequential, segmented continuous flushing manner, with the cross-sectional area of the discharge outlet not less than 60% of the cross-sectional area of the flushed pipe. Ensure the discharge pipeline is unobstructed and safe. Only after the upstream flushing port has passed the flush test can the subsequent system flushing proceed.
