Air (Nitrogen) Blowing, air blowing is a method that uses air as the medium, compressed by an air compressor to 0.6～0.8Mpa, and then blows away residual debris in process pipelines. 1 Principles and Requirements for Air (Nitrogen) Blowing: When selecting air (nitrogen) blowing for process pipelines, ensure sufficient air volume to make the blowing gas flow velocity greater than the normal operating velocity, or at least not less than 20m/s.
Flushing of the recirculating water system. The water flushing of pipelines should be conducted at the maximum possible flow rate within the pipeline or not less than 1.5 m/s, with flow direction from high to low. The water quality for flushing must meet the requirements of the pipeline and equipment materials. Generally, for equipment and pipeline flushing, a turbidity of less than 10 mg/L and a chloride ion content of less than 100 ppm are used. Flushing should be carried out in a sequential, segmented, and continuous manner. The cross-sectional area of the discharge outlet should not be less than 60% of the cross-sectional area of the pipeline being flushed. Ensure the discharge pipeline is clear and safe. Only after the upstream flushing outlet has passed the qualification can the subsequent system flushing proceed.
