I. Product Overview
The SX-LDG electromagnetic flowmeter is primarily composed of parts such as the magnetic circuit system, measuring tube, electrodes, housing, lining, and converter. The display types include split-body and integrated. The series nominal bore range is DN15 to DN3000.
The flow meter consists of a flow sensor and a transmitter. It must be installed at the lowest point of the pipeline or a vertical section of the pipeline, and it must be done so under full pipeline conditions. The requirements for straight pipeline sections are 5D before and 3D after, to ensure normal operation and accuracy. Its measurement principle does not rely on flow characteristics; turbulence and vortices in the non-measurement area (such as elbows, tangential throttles, or upstream half-open cutoff valves) have no effect on the measurement. However, steady-state vortices within the measurement area can affect measurement stability and accuracy, and measures must be taken to stabilize the velocity distribution.

Section II: Product Description
LD Intelligent Electromagnetic Flow Meters are designed for measuring the volume flow of conductive liquids with conductivity greater than 5 uS/cm, such as water, slurry, ore slurry, and other general conductive liquids, as well as flow rates of strong corrosive liquids like strong acids and alkalis. They are widely used in industrial sectors such as chemicals, chemical fibers, petrochemicals, metallurgy, light industry, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, and other fields.
Section 3: Measurement Principle
Based on Faraday's Law of electromagnetic induction, a conductive liquid generates an induced electromotive force when it moves through a magnetic field by cutting the magnetic lines of force. A pair of electrodes are installed on both sides of the inner wall of a conduit perpendicular to the axis of the measuring tube and the magnetic lines of force. When the conductive liquid flows at a velocity ∨ through a magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of flow, it induces a voltage proportional to the average flow rate. This induced voltage signal is detected by two or more electrodes in direct contact with the liquid, transmitted through a cable to a converter for intelligent processing, and then displayed on an LCD or converted into a standard 4-20mA and 0-1KHz output signal.
