Two.Use and maintenance
The grinding wheel machine must be measured with a megohmmeter of over 500 volts before use, with its insulation resistance not less than 0.5 megohms.
2. Prior to use, the parts of the grinding wheel machine should be thoroughly inspected for any damage or cracks due to transportation, and check for loose fasteners. Any issues should be repaired and tightened. Pay special attention to the grinding wheel for cracks; it can be gently tapped with a wooden mallet, and a clear, crisp sound indicates it is safe to use.
3. Prior to use, the grinding wheel machine should be manually rotated to check for smooth and easy operation, and listen closely for any grinding or rubbing noises.
4. The direction of rotation for grinding wheels and fans should match the direction indicator.
5. During operation, do not collide the workpiece with the grinding wheel. Apply pressure gradually to prevent shock to the grinding wheel, avoid explosion, and prevent accidents.
6. The abrasive wheel machine guard is strictly prohibited from being removed except for replacing the abrasive wheel and maintenance repairs to ensure safety.
8. Replace with a new grinding wheel. Ensure the wheel is balanced during installation, and the soft pad between the wheel and the mounting plate should be properly seated. Do not overtighten the nut to prevent the wheel from cracking. The protective cover must be securely in place.
9. The lubricating grease in the bearings should generally be changed every six months.
10. The vertical grinding wheels, M3030, M3035, and M3040, are equipped with a worktable. When using the worktable, ensure that its support surface is at the same height as the motor's axis. After adjusting the height of the worktable, it must be securely fastened.
