(1) Select the grit size of the abrasive wheel based on the material of the item to be processed and the required progress. For softer metal materials like copper and aluminum, use a coarser abrasive wheel. For items requiring higher processing precision, opt for a finer abrasive wheel.

(2) Select the appropriate grinding wheel face according to the desired shape.

(3) The grinding wheel must be free from cracks, chips, or any other defects or damage, and must be securely mounted. This should be continually monitored during use; if any cracks, chips, or other defects or damage are detected in the grinding wheel, immediately cease operation and replace with a new one; when in motion, stop the machine immediately and tighten.
