DYT Series Electro-Hydraulic Push Rods are suitable for reciprocating linear (or reciprocating rotational) movement within a certain angle, and can be used in applications that require lifting, lowering, or clamping objects. They are also ideal for long-distance and high-altitude hazardous areas and can be networked with computers for centralized (programmed) control. They are now widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, coal, electricity, machinery, grain, cement, chemicals, water conservancy, and transportation, serving as an indispensable general power source.
Principles and Functions:
1. Working Principle: The electro-hydraulic push rod is powered by an electric motor. By rotating the motor in either the forward or reverse direction, hydraulic oil is outputted under pressure through a bidirectional gear pump. It then travels through an integrated oil block to the working cylinder, thereby achieving reciprocating movement of the piston rod.
2. Overload Automatic Protection Function: During the operation of the electro-hydraulic push rod, if the external force on the piston rod exceeds the rated output force or the piston reaches the end position, and the motor continues to rotate, the oil pressure in the circuit will rise to the set pressure, causing the overflow valve to discharge rapidly and accurately, thereby activating the overload automatic protection. Although the motor is still rotating, it will never be damaged.
3. Locking Function: The oil path module of the electro-hydraulic push rod is designed with a pressure self-locking mechanism. When the motor stops rotating, the piston rod immediately remains in a specific position, and the pressure oil is in a pressure-holding state.
4. Speed can be infinitely adjusted within the designated speed range, as per customer requirements.
5. Push and pull forces can be infinitely adjusted within the designated output power range, as per customer requirements.
6. The travel can be infinitely adjusted within the designated travel range as per customer requirements.
Comparison with similar products
Hydraulic and electrical push rods offer the following advantages compared to electric push rods, electric actuators, hydraulic cylinders, and pneumatic cylinders:
1. Features reliable overload automatic protection, allowing the motor to operate normally even under overload or at the end of the stroke without damaging other components. Electric actuators and executive mechanisms simply can't compare.
2. Electro-hydraulic push rods can be started under load, whereas it is difficult for electric push rods and electric actuators to do so.
3. On the same electro-hydraulic push rod, the thrust and pull force can be infinitely adjusted within its rated range, thus offering a wide driving force range, which is not achievable with electric push rods or cylinders.
4. Under the same thrust and speed, the electro-hydraulic push rod consumes half the electrical energy of an electric push rod and electric actuator.
5. The electro-hydraulic push rod utilizes full hydraulic transmission, offering sensitive operation, smooth movement, and effectively reduces the impact force from the outside. It provides precise stroke control, which is not achievable with cylinders, electric push rods, or electric actuators.
