How to choose the appropriate wall thickness:

1. The wall thickness of different pressure stainless steel mixing tanks varies according to their pressure design. For atmospheric pressure tanks, a wall thickness of 3mm is typically sufficient; for pressure-resistant tanks, the thickness must be increased accordingly based on the actual pressure.

2. Adjust based on the heating method. For an electrically heated stainless steel mixing tank without internal pressure in the jacket, the jacket wall thickness is typically around 3mm; if steam heating is used within the jacket, the wall thickness needs to be increased based on the pressure; for excessive pressure, the jacket can also be selected based on the pressure size, such as Miller plates, coiled tubes, or hollow jackets.

3. Select based on the mixer type. For a standard propeller mixer, the wall thickness of the stainless steel tank jacket usually does not need to be increased. However, if the mixer changes to a scraping wall type, the wall thickness should be increased. Of course, adjustments should also be made according to the actual volume of the tank.
