Principle:
Ultrasound generates alternating high and low pressures in exposed liquids. During the low-pressure cycle, ultrasound creates vacuum-like microbubbles within the liquid. In the high-pressure cycle, these actual bubbles undergo violent collapse, a phenomenon known as cavitation. The implosive force of the cavitation bubbles induces intense fluid dynamic shear forces.
