Ultrasonic Amplitude Measurement Vibration Meters are specialized devices for measuring ultrasonic amplitude. They are used for output amplitude measurement of equipment like ultrasonic plastic welding, spot welding, cutting, acoustochemistry, and cell disruption. They can also measure the output amplitude of ultrasonic transducers, ultrasonic amplitude horns, and tool heads individually. When the ultrasonic vibration part contacts the test rod of the ultrasonic amplitude meter, the rod extends and retracts, displaying the amplitude on the screen through the measurement of a high-precision sensor. Ultrasonic amplitude refers to the amplitude of ultrasonic welding equipment, typically with a frequency between 10kHz and 60kHz and an amplitude between 1m and 200μm. Due to the high frequency and small amplitude, measurement can be challenging, demanding high precision. Common testing methods are ineffective, making it difficult to measure. Generally, laser vibration meters are used for measurement, providing better results but at a high cost and complex operation. Production units and professional research and design units seldom use them. During the design and production of ultrasonic equipment, if the vibration system amplitude is too large, the internal material stress is also excessive, exceeding the material's tensile and fatigue strength, leading to cracking in molds, amplitude horns, or transducer materials. Generally, we recommend that customers control the amplitude parameters of the corresponding components within a reasonable range when designing ultrasonic systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
