Electromagnetic knife gate valves are equipped with multi-revolutionary electric actuators, which control the valve's remote opening and closing by driving the valve plate to move vertically. The valve bodies are made of cast steel or stainless steel, with a nominal diameter range of DN15 to DN1800, suitable for temperatures between -30°C and +425°C, and a nominal pressure of 0.6 to 1.6 MPa. Standard power supply voltages are AC380V or AC220V, 50Hz, with control methods including switch type, regulating type, bus type, and wind-solar complementary type. The valve body structures commonly include exposed stem type and concealed plate type. These valves are widely used in coal preparation plants, chemical factories, coal enterprises, sugar factories, water treatment plants, paper mills, and other fields, playing a crucial role in pipeline regulation and throttling in the paper industry.

Product Features

1. The knife gate valves are categorized into two types based on the diameter difference: blind stem (DN 50 - 1400mm) and exposed stem (DN 50 - 1400mm). The full-circular through-channel design effectively prevents material accumulation and blockage. The bottom of the knife plate is shaped like a blade, capable of cutting soft materials such as fibers, pulp, and wood pulp, with excellent opening and closing performance. The hard polytetrafluoroethylene scraper installed at the top of the knife plate prevents abrasive materials like dust and sand from entering the packing box, extending the life of the knife plate. The valve plate is made of stainless steel and processed with precision grinding and polishing for better sealing. The design is compact, with minimal space and weight, reasonable pricing, easy installation, and comprehensive wear and blockage prevention measures. Maintenance is convenient, operation is simple, and the lifespan is long. The driving device can be flexibly selected according to requirements.

2. The valve bodies and stuffing boxes are precision cast, with the valve body being a flanged integral casting. The material for the valve body can be selected from 304, 316, 316L, WCB, 2Cr13, etc., according to customer requirements. The sealing rings are made of PTFE reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene, which boasts corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and non-stick properties.

3. The valve plate features 5 support points, ensuring excellent self-alignment performance. When the valve is closed and under back pressure, the valve plate is less prone to displacement.

4. The knife gate valve offers various driving methods, including handwheels, manual chains, spur gear drives, bevel gear drives, pneumatic, or electric actuators.

5. The internal passage of the knife gate valve can be designed into shapes such as V-shape, triangle, pentagon, etc., among which the V-shaped gate plate can be used for regulating and controlling.

6. The knife gate valves are available in two connection types: waistband and flange lug. The sealing types include metal-to-metal hard sealing, metal-to-polyurethane sealing, and reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene soft sealing.

7. Wide range of applicable media, including gold ore powder, tailings, pulp, wood pulp, fibers, dust, chemically treated wastewater, sludge from sedimentation tanks, ore sand, slag, coal slurry, asphalt, materials at the outlet of storage bins, fruits, grains, cement slurry, and wastewater from slaughterhouses.

8. Operating Temperature Range: Soft seal (PTFE) -40℃ to 180℃; Carbon steel -30℃ to 425℃; Stainless steel -40℃ to 600℃; Chromium molybdenum vanadium steel not exceeding 550℃; Working pressure 0.6 to 1.6 MPa.

1. Design complies with JB/T8691-1998, MSS SP-81 standards.

2. Fittings are manufactured in accordance with GB/T9113.1-2000 standard.

3. The structural length is determined according to the GB/T1 - 5188.2 - 94 standard.

4. Testing and acceptance are based on GB/T 13927 standard.

Material Description

Please note that replacing the manual operating mechanism with a multi-revolution electric unit will enable electric operation and control, thus transforming it into an electric butterfly valve.
