Grid grating, also known as steel grating, is a type of metal product made by cross-arranging flat steel bars at certain intervals with cross bars (twisted square steel, square steel, round steel, flat steel, etc.) and welding them into a square grid pattern. It is primarily used for drain covers, steel structure platform panels, and stair treads. The cross bars are generally made of twisted square steel. Steel grating is usually made of carbon steel and coated with hot-dipped zinc for rust prevention. Stainless steel can also be used. Steel grating features ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, anti-slip, and explosion-proof properties.
