Fitted-pipe is a pipeline made with ordinary carbon steel pipe as the base, lined with a thermoplastic engineering plastic that boasts excellent chemical stability. It is either cold drawn and compounded or formed by rotational molding. It combines the mechanical properties of steel pipes with the corrosion resistance, slow scaling, and difficulty in microbial growth of engineering plastics, making it an ideal pipeline for conveying acidic, alkaline, saline, corrosive gases, and other media. Lined with food-grade polypropylene, it can be used in the food and drinking water industries. Common types of fitted-pipe include: steel-lined polypropylene pipe (GSF.PP), steel-lined polyvinyl chloride pipe (GSF.PVC), steel-lined polyethylene pipe (GSF.PE), and steel-lined polyolefin pipe (GSF.PO).
Features of Plastic Coated Pipe:
1. Excellent physical properties
2. Excellent corrosion resistance
3. Mechanical strength is identical to that of steel pipe
4. Sanitary, non-toxic, non-greasy, non-microbial growth, ensuring fluid quality
5. Resistant to chemical corrosion, soil and marine biological corrosion, and cathodic delamination
6. Mature installation technology, convenient and quick
7. Excellent weather resistance, suitable for harsh environments such as deserts and saline soils
8. Smooth pipe wall, enhances conveying efficiency, and long service life
