Metal and plastic-based piping
Plastic-lined compound steel pipes are produced using materials like PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, PE-X, PE-RT, and PP-R as the inner lining and adhesive. They are manufactured through thermal expansion and cold-drawing techniques, fusing the carbon steel pipe with the lined pipe.
Types of inner lining resins include: hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C), etc.
Pipe connections vary and include: threaded connections, flanged connections, and grooved connections.
(1) This pipe material is suitable for cold and hot water supply systems. Plastics-lined steel pipes with inner linings of PVC-U or PE are not to be used in hot water systems.
(2) When threading the pipe, the system working pressure should not exceed 1.0 MPa.
(3) When the operating pressure of the pipeline system is greater than 1.0 MPa and not more than 1.6 MPa, it is advisable to use coated (lined) seamless steel pipes, seamless steel pipe fittings, or ductile iron coated (lined) pipe fittings, with flange or grooved connections.
(4) When the operating pressure of the pipeline system is greater than 1.6MPa and less than 2.5MPa, use electrostatically coated seamless steel pipes and seamless steel pipes, or cast steel coated pipe fittings.法兰或槽式连接 should be employed.
(5) Threaded connections are recommended for pipe diameters not exceeding 100mm, while flanged or grooved connections are preferable for diameters over 100mm.法兰 connections should be used for the pump house piping.
