Do import explosion-proof electrical equipment need to obtain the CCC certification?
The CCC certification is a mandatory product certification in China, which means that all explosion-proof electrical equipment listed in the CCC product catalog must obtain a CCC certification certificate.
Imported products that are listed in the CCC catalog and are for sale must also obtain a CCC certification.
The process for applying for the防爆 CCC certification for imported explosion-proof electrical equipment is essentially the same as for domestically produced products.
All must undergo application, type testing, and factory audit. If the factory is overseas, an audit must also be conducted abroad.
Requirements for applying for the explosion-proof 3C certification:
