One.Preface
Deaerator is a special type of low-temperature thermal deaerator.
In the water treatment process for boiler feed, deoxygenation is a critical step. Oxygen is a major corrosive substance in both the feed water system and the boiler. Oxygen in the feed water must be removed quickly, otherwise it will corrode the boiler's feed water system and components. Corrosion will lead to the formation of ferric oxide, which can enter the boiler, settle or adhere to the boiler tube walls and heat surfaces, forming an insoluble iron scale that leads to poor heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner wall of the pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. Severe pipe corrosion can even lead to pipe accidents. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The oxygen remover generally includes two working processes.:
1.A single oxygen removal process: Water without oxygen enters the deoxygenation pipeline through the inlet, then it is ejected through nozzles to form a mist. The mist falls through a liquid-vapor grid, where it thoroughly mixes with steam entering through the steam inlet. This achieves the deoxygenation temperature for the mist, causing most of the oxygen in the water to precipitate and be expelled through the exhaust outlet, thus completing the first stage of deoxygenation.
2.Deoxygenation Stage Two: The purpose of the second deoxygenation stage is to ensure the tank's internal temperature remains at the deoxygenation temperature to maximize the deoxygenation effect. This process is achieved by heating the already deoxygenated water through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any oxygen that was not removed in the first stage to fully precipitate out, significantly reducing the oxygen content in the water. At this point, the second deoxygenation is complete.
Three.Internal deoxygenator structure
