One.Preface
Deaerator is a special type of low-pressure thermal deaerator.
In the boiler feed water treatment process, deoxygenation is a critical step. Oxygen is a major corrosive substance in the feed water system and boiler. The oxygen in the feed water should be removed quickly, otherwise it will corrode the boiler feed water system and components. The corrosion will produce ferric oxide, which can enter the boiler, settle or adhere to the boiler tube walls and heat surfaces, forming an insoluble iron scale that leads to poor heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner wall of the pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. Severe pipe corrosion can even lead to pipe accidents. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The deaerator generally includes two operating processes.:
1.A single oxygen removal: Water not deoxygenated enters the deoxygenation pipeline through the inlet, is ejected through nozzles into a mist, which then falls and passes through the liquid-gas network, thoroughly mixing with steam entering through the steam inlet. This process causes the misty water to reach the deoxygenation temperature, with most of the oxygen in the water precipitated and released through the exhaust port, thus completing the first stage of deoxygenation.
2.Deoxygenation Stage 2: The purpose of the second deoxygenation stage is to maintain the tank's temperature consistently at the deoxygenation level to maximize the deoxygenation effect. This is achieved by heating the already deoxygenated water through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any remaining dissolved oxygen from the first deoxygenation stage to fully precipitate, significantly reducing the oxygen content in the water. At this point, the second deoxygenation process is complete.
